Quick and Easy Vase Redo to bring on Spring!

I don’t know about you, but I have Spring fever and I can’t wait until it’s here. I was inspired by the warmth that we had last week and needed to bring some Spring and color into my home. With a quick trip to Hobby Lobby, I bought some new flowers for my bedroom with whites and corals to match my colors and a simple glass vase that only cost a couple dollars. To spruce up the clear glass vase, I bought some burlap and ribbon. The clear vase would have been beautiful by itself, but I never do things the simple way! This will be a great way to add your personal touch.

Things you need:

Cylinder clear glass vase

Burlap ribbon

1-2″ thick ribbon

Glue

Scissors

Flowers

Now that you have all your supplies, it’s time to start cutting and gluing! Take the burlap ribbon and wrap it around the vase to figure out how long you need it to be. There needs to be a little overlap so you can glue it together. Cut the burlap to length, then wrap it around the vase and glue the ends together. It helps to lay it down so the burlap doesn’t slide on the vase as you’re working.

The ribbon you chose to go over the burlap can be any width you prefer as long as it’s smaller than the burlap ribbon. Color with pattern is what makes it pop! Measure the ribbon around the vase like before and cut to length. Glue the ribbon over the burlap ribbon, centering it with the burlap ends. Let it dry and your vase is done!

Now just add some flowers to match your color scheme! Here is what my vase looks like with my flowers. Hopefully you can bring some Spring into your home with a new vase of flowers!

Have a great week!
